For the past six years I have been using Whitetail Institute products in an effort to improve the deer quality and population on the property I hunt. I have had great success with Imperial Whitetail Clover. My larger plots continue to receive high traffic, even into the winter months. I have seen numbers of deer pass up standing and cut corn to feed on Imperial Clover that has already been frosted over three times and covered with snow! By planting smaller satellite plots, I have been able to draw deer to areas more favorable for bow hunting, even into the late season months.
Since I started using Whitetail Institute products I have seen a definite improvement in the quality and numbers of deer in the areas I hunt. Before using Imperial Clover, the average bucks harvested and seen on the property I hunt were in the “basket-rack,” low 110-inch range. Now I am routinely seeing 130-inch and even 150-plus-inch range. I harvested a 13-point, 130-inch class buck that field dressed at 208 pounds (see attached photo)! To date this is the largest buck I have harvested, and I give credit all to the Whitetail Institute products used and quality deer management practices. Fawn and doe body weights definitely show an increase as well and the number of twin fawns observed is on the increase.
I have recently begun using scouting cameras in an effort to better track the movements and numbers of deer using specific food plots. During one night in August of this year, I obtained photos of seven different bucks ranging from 1-year-old spikes to 3 1/2-year-old 8-pointers. One of the photos I have submitted shows a super 10-pointer I photographed with a motion-activated scouting camera near one of my food plots. It’s estimated score is around 150 plus inches and weighing somewhere around 250 pounds. Good year-round nutrition and management is the only thing than can produce bucks like this. Deer like these are the reason why I will continue to use and recommend your products.
PS. My Imperial Clover plots are the favorite hangouts for the wild turkeys on my property as well.
