At first glance, young pine plantations don’t seem to offer much to a deer hunter because they’re thick, hard to travel through and usually don’t offer deer much in the way of food. These same characteristics, though, can actually make them prime locations for hunting plots if you know what to look for and how to set them up for the best possible results.
